Do I need a lawyer to create a Will?
One can do a holographic Will. That is a Will that is created in your own handwriting, consulting a lawyer is recommended to ensure your Will is legally valid and includes all needed parts. Yes, there are Will kits out there, however I can guide you through the right questions to ask. Remember we don’t try to do surgery on ourselves we seek a competent surgeon. Same goes for seeking a lawyer to help you. Would you not want a lawyer who will take the time to explain what all those paragraphs mean in your Will and explain it in English?
Who should I name as my executor?
This is the big first decision you want someone who is younger and lives in your jurisdiction. Our firm has contacts with persons who can help the executor in their role.
What assets should I list in my Will?

Can I designate a guardian for my children and/or pets?
Yes you should do this for any child under the age of 18. This is sometimes a difficult bit to work through. Likewise, you should name someone to look after your pets. For example Parrots can live a very long time.
How often should I review and update my Will?
It is Important to review and update your Will whenever significant life changes occur, like marriage, divorce, birth of a child, or major asset acquisition
Do I need to include all my assets in my Will?
While you should list most assets, remember that some assets like retirement accounts may have designated beneficiaries that take precedence over your Will.
Can I leave specific items to particular beneficiaries?
Yes, you can specify who receives specific items like jewelry, artwork, or vehicles.
Should I consider a trust?
A trust can be beneficial for complex estate planning, especially if you want to control how assets are distributed over time. There are Corporate Trusts out they which could help you depending on your circumstances.
